Arrow Termite & Pest Control has acquired Ark-La-Tex Exterminators, a pest management company serving the greater Shreveport, La., area.

Founded on July 4, 1978, by John Theo II, Ark-La-Tex Exterminators has earned a strong reputation over nearly five decades, Arrow said. The firm services more than 1,000 customers in the region. To ensure a smooth transition, Arrow will retain Ark-La-Tex’s current pest control technicians, many with more than 20 years of experience.

“We’re excited to welcome the Ark-La-Tex team to the Arrow family,” said Jacob Cohn, chief operating officer and associate certified entomologist at Arrow Termite & Pest Control. “John has built an outstanding business, and we look forward to expanding in the Shreveport area while continuing the high standard of service our customers expect and trust.”

Massey Services announced the acquisition of PureGuard Pest Solutions, based in Nashville, Tenn.

Massey said since 2018, PureGuard Pest Solutions has delivered residential pest and mosquito control services throughout the Middle Tennessee region. With this acquisition, Massey Services further strengthens its presence in the state and will now have seven service centers across Tennessee.

Rockit Pest announced the acquisition of Green Solutions Lawn & Pest Control, a Tampa-based pest control and lawn care provider in business since 2007.

“It’s not every day that you find a company built on such deep and well-rounded industry expertise,” said Ryan Bradbury, chief operating officer of Rockit Pest. “We’re thrilled to welcome Green Solutions to Rockit and to build on their many years of success in the Tampa lawn and pest control market.” Green Solutions’ former owner, Max C. Ayer, a Brandon, Fla., native, holds a bachelor’s degree in turf management from Auburn University. He built his career at Bayer Environmental Science in both turf and pest control roles prior to serving as vice president and later president of agronomic resources.

Noosa Pest Management announced the acquisition of HomeWorks Pest Control, a South Carolina-based pest control company, as part of its continued growth strategy in the region.

The acquisition ensures a seamless transition for HomeWorks Pest Control customers following the retirement of its owner. The company said HomeWorks Pest Control has served residential clients in the Tega Cay, S.C., region with a focus on reliable, personalized service. Noosa Pest Management will assume all service operations and maintain continuity for customers.

Pest-X Exterminating announced the acquisition of Vantage Pest Solutions, a pest control company based in Lexington, N.C.

Pest-X said this acquisition has special meaning, as Vantage Pest Solutions owner Shawn Traversy previously spent seven years with Pest-X. As part of the acquisition, Traversy will rejoin the company as branch manager of Pest-X’s Winston-Salem location.

“We’re excited to welcome Shawn back to the Pest-X family,” said Simon Shaw, owner of Pest-X Exterminating.
