Select Exterminating Acquires Three Businesses Across New York and New Jersey

FRANKLIN SQUARE, N.Y. - The Aust Group announced the acquisitions of three of its clients by Select Exterminating: Suburban Pest Control of Hamburg, N.Y., Amherst Exterminators of Dunkirk, N.Y. and On The Spot Pest Control of Metuchen, N.J. These transactions further strengthen Select Exterminating's presence throughout the Northeast while expanding its footprint across key markets in New York and New Jersey.

Founded in 1983, Suburban Pest Control has provided residential and commercial pest management services throughout Western New York for more than four decades. The Aust Group said under the leadership of second-generation owners Marty and Mary Ballowe, the company earned a strong reputation through exceptional customer service, a family-oriented culture, and long-standing community relationships.

Amherst Exterminators traces its roots to 1994, when Ken Drummond and Rick Crandall founded Comfort Pest Control. Following the acquisition of Amherst Exterminators in 2006, the company continued to expand through strategic growth before officially rebranding as Amherst Exterminators in 2020. Today, the company is recognized as a leading pest control provider throughout Western New York, the Aust Group said.

Established in 2010, On The Spot Pest Control has become a trusted provider of pest management services across Central New Jersey, the Aust Group said. Owners Chris and Andrea Piazza built the business by delivering responsive, environmentally conscious pest control solutions backed by outstanding customer service, the company said.

The Aust Group acted as the exclusive financial advisor for Suburban Pest Control, Amherst Exterminators and On The Spot Pest Control. The terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
