Mike Waldvogel Endowment Receives Donation From NCPWIPM Melodies That Matter

RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Chapter of the Professional Women in Pest Management presented a check for $10,355.76 to the NCPMA Extension Program Endowment in Honor of Mike Waldvogel, during the Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference in Charleston, S.C.

The funds were raised through the second Melodies that Matter fundraiser, held Jan. 27, 2026, during the Pest Control Technician's School in Durham, N.C. The association said the event brought together industry professionals for an evening of karaoke, camaraderie and giving with participants making donations for the chance to take the stage, or to avoid it altogether.

All proceeds benefit the NCPMA Extension Program Endowment, which supports urban entomology programs at NC State University that directly serve North Carolina's pest management industry. Since the endowment was established in 2019, more than $400,000 has been raised in its support.
