J&J Exterminating, Lafayette, La., celebrated its 65th anniversary during its annual team meeting this spring.

The event brought together employees from across the organization to recognize achievements, review company performance, and outline strategic priorities for future growth and community engagement.

A key highlight was the presentation of departmental awards honoring employees for their dedication and expertise. The meeting also featured a performance by a professional mentalist.

Company leaders emphasized four strategic themes for the future: (1) Keep Building; (2) Be Intentional; (3) Stay Disciplined; and (4) Focus on the Small Things.

“We’ve built something special over the last 65 years,” said Robert John III, chief operating officer of J&J Exterminating. “If we stay intentional, stay disciplined and focus on the small things, there’s no reason we can’t build something just as special over the next 65 years. That’s how we continue to strive to be the best pest control company we can be.”

Pest Pros Pest Control, Sacramento, Calif., participated in the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign this year, partnering with Sacramento attorney and community leader Anh Phoong to raise awareness and funds for heart health initiatives.

The company organized fundraising efforts, community outreach campaigns and events throughout the campaign, which focused on supporting the American Heart Association’s mission and promoting cardiovascular health education.

The effort also held personal significance for Pest Pros President Josh Fleenor, whose daughter, Dixie, underwent open-heart surgery as an infant.

“At Pest Pros, we believe in supporting causes that make a meaningful difference in our communities,” Fleenor said. “The American Heart Association’s mission is one that resonates with our team, and we were proud to help raise awareness and funds for heart health.”

By the campaign’s conclusion, the team had raised more than $230,000. Phoong was recognized as the National Woman of Impact, while Fleenor was named Team Member of the Year and set a national fundraising record for a team member.

Greenway Pest Solutions, Greenline Pest Solutions and Evergreen Pest Solutions announced their official rebrand to Ninefold Pest. The company is headquartered in Ogden, Utah.

The company said the transition to Ninefold Pest reflects its evolution into a unified platform serving tens of thousands of customers across multiple states, while maintaining the same approach that built each brand’s reputation.

“Each of our brands has a strong legacy,” said Byron Gifford, CEO. “Bringing them together as Ninefold Pest allows us to scale that legacy — investing more in our people, technology and customer experience — while continuing to deliver the reliable, high-quality service our customers expect.”

Terminix announced the launch of The Pest Collective: From Root Cause to Real Solutions, a new podcast series designed for commercial business owners. Hosted by industry experts and certified entomologists, Dr. Nancy Troyano and Jen Fox, Terminix said the series delivers practical, science-based insights to help facilities, operations, property and procurement leaders understand the biological and operational factors that drive pest pressure.

The 10-episode inaugural season aims to go beyond basic pest control, exploring the intersection of biological pressure and operational resilience, the company said. Each 20-25 minute episode features rotating subject matter experts to help facility leaders transition from reactive service models to proactive, science-based program maturity, Terminix said.
