UPMTC and Oklahoma State University Partner for Workshop

The Urban Pest Management Technical Committee and Oklahoma State University are organizing a two-day workshop on stored product pests. The workshop, which takes place Sept. 15-16, is open to all interested individuals.

STILLWATER, Okla. — The Urban Pest Management Technical Committee (UPMTC) and Oklahoma State University are organizing a two-day workshop on stored product pests. The workshop, which takes place across Sept. 15 and 16, is open to anyone interested.

UPMTC said the workshop will be held at the OSU Botanic Garden & Stored Products and Research Center (SPREC). The first day will include presentations from industry leaders including Mark Sheperdigian, Jeff Weier, James Miller, Tom Mueller and Alison Gerken. Attendees will be able to take part in hands-on demonstrations on the second day led by James Miller and Tom Mueller.

Registration is available on UPMTC’s website. The cost is $100 for early bird registration and $125 after August 25, with all proceeds generated going towards the Sanborn Entomology Club.
