RIVERSIDE, Calif. — The University of California, Riverside will host its 2026 Urban Pest Management Conference on March 24 at the UCR HUB Conference Rooms.
The one-day event will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and will feature presentations on a range of topics relevant to urban and structural pest management professionals.
Scheduled topics include rodent behavior and management; the One Health concept in urban and structural pest management; inspection problems and common violations; how monitoring informs management; cockroach behavior; research updates on silverfish and firebrat baiting; regulatory updates on general pest (GP) and wood-destroying organism (WDO) categories; drywood termite biology; subterranean termite distribution and biology; and subterranean termite inspection.
Continuing education credits will be offered through the California Structural Pest Control Board and the California Department of Pesticide Regulation. The exact number of credit hours is to be determined.
Attendees may choose between a morning plenary session followed by either a General Pests session or a WDO session in the afternoon.
Registration fees are $140 for regular attendees and $750 for sponsors. Online registration is available, and registration closes March 13, 2026.
