ST. LOUIS — Rottler Pest Solutions is celebrating 70 years in business in 2026, marking a milestone that places the family-owned company among the longest-running independent pest management firms in the Midwest.
Founded in 1956 by Fred Rottler, the company began as a small operation serving the St. Louis area. Seven decades later, the company continues to serve residential and commercial customers throughout Missouri, Illinois and Kansas while remaining under third-generation family ownership.
“Reaching 70 years is a tremendous honor, and it’s a testament to the people who built this company — our employees, our customers and the generations of family members who have dedicated themselves to serving others,” said Dan Rottler, president of Rottler Pest Solutions. “My grandfather Fred started this business in 1956 with a simple commitment to taking care of people, and that’s still what drives us today.”
The company said over the decades, Rottler has grown from a single-location business into a regional provider of pest management, termite protection and wildlife services while continuing to emphasize customer service, community involvement and long-term relationships. Throughout its growth, Rottler said it has remained focused investing in its people, creating opportunities for employee development, embracing new technologies and adapting to the evolving needs of customers and the industry.
The company’s longevity has been built not only on providing quality pest management services, but also on the dedication of team members who have helped shape Rottler’s culture over generations, the company said. Many employees have built long careers with the company, fostering a culture centered on teamwork, service and treating customers like family.
As the pest management profession continues to evolve, Rottler said it remains committed to strengthening its service offerings, developing future industry leaders and supporting the communities it serves.
Rottler plans to recognize the milestone throughout 2026 with employee appreciation initiatives, community involvement efforts and activities highlighting the people and relationships that have contributed to its success over the past seven years.
