PHOENIX — AXN Growth Partners announced the promotion of Dawn Aguayo to chief sales officer, recognizing her 25-year career in the pest control industry and her proven leadership in driving organic growth across the company's portfolio.
Aguayo's career began in the field as a pest control technician. Over the past 25 years, she has advanced through leadership roles spanning operations, sales and marketing, building a reputation for developing high-performing teams and delivering consistent results. Her promotion reflects both her depth of industry experience and the impact she has had across the AXN platform.
In this role, Aguayo will lead AXN's sales strategy, partnering with operating companies to strengthen sales execution, develop talent and continue accelerating organic growth across the organization.
"Dawn has been one of the biggest contributors to AXN's success," said Brent Agee, CEO of AXN Growth Partners. "She understands this business from every angle because she's lived it. From starting as a technician to now serving as our chief sales officer, she's earned every opportunity through hard work, grit and an unwavering commitment to results. Our brands have consistently delivered double-digit organic growth, and Dawn has played a significant role in helping our teams achieve that performance. She's respected throughout our organization because she leads by example and consistently delivers."
Aguayo's career also reflects the opportunities available within the pest control industry. Her progression from technician to executive leadership demonstrates that determination, continuous learning and a willingness to lead can create meaningful career advancement, the company said. Her journey serves as an example for technicians entering the industry and for women pursuing leadership roles in the trades.
"I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had throughout my career and for the people who invested in my growth along the way," said Aguayo. "The pest control industry has given me more than I ever imagined, and I'm excited to continue working alongside our teams to help our brands grow while creating opportunities for others to do the same."
