Advanced IPM Restructures Field Operations, Creating New California and Nevada Regions

ROSEVILLE, CA — Advanced IPM (Advanced Integrated Pest Management) has restructured its field operations, creating three regions spanning California and Nevada and promoting three longtime branch leaders to oversee them.

The company said the new structure places dedicated regional leadership closer to the company’s branches as it continues to expand across both states.

Sean Coker has been promoted to regional manager, North, overseeing the company’s Chico, Roseville, Rancho Cordova, Concord, Santa Rosa and Reno operations. A 21-year veteran of Advanced IPM, the company said Coker most recently led the company’s Rancho Cordova branch, where he built a reputation for operational excellence, team development and leading by example.

Travis Curtis, A.C.E., has been appointed regional manager, Central Region & Commodity Fumigation. Curtis will lead the Manteca, Merced, Bakersfield and San Jose locations while also overseeing the company’s commodity fumigation operations company-wide. Curtis has played an important role in the success of Advanced IPM’s Central Valley operations and the continued growth of its commodity fumigation business, Advanced IPM said.

Joe Staniewski has been promoted to territory manager, South, a new leadership role reflecting the growth of the company’s Southern operations. Staniewski will oversee the San Diego, Ventura, Orange and Las Vegas operations. In addition to leading the company’s San Diego branch, Advanced IPM said he has been instrumental in the development and integration of several of Advanced IPM’s newest markets.

“These three leaders have already proven themselves in the field, with our employees and our customers. This structure puts experienced leadership closer to our branches, which means faster support for our teams, stronger development of future leaders and a more consistent experience for customers in every market we serve,” said Chance Howell, director of field operations at Advanced IPM.

The regional structure follows a broader leadership realignment announced in June, when Advanced IPM promoted Deborah Romani to president, Brock Peck to vice president of operations and Howell to director of field operations, the company said. The three regional leaders will report to Howell, connecting company strategy directly to branch-level execution.

As consolidation and regional expansion continue to reshape the pest control industry, Advanced IPM said multi-branch operators must invest in leadership and operational discipline to protect service quality and employee engagement while growing. The company said the new field structure creates the foundation for continued expansion, including the development and integration of future branches and markets.

The restructure also creates new career opportunities throughout the company. As Coker, Curtis and Staniewski step into their regional roles, leadership positions open behind them, creating advancement paths for employees across the organization.
