Rockwell Labs announced a label expansion and formula update for EcoVia 3-in-1, adding structural pest control uses while retaining its “For Organic Production” designation, according to the company. The updated label includes residential and commercial buildings, warehouses, food production facilities, drains and sewers, basements, animal housing and agricultural structures. It also adds pests such as cockroaches, flies, stored product pests, mosquitoes, ticks and fleas, shifting beyond the product’s earlier focus on plant pests, Rockwell Labs said. EcoVia 3-in-1 uses botanical active ingredients and includes only components allowed on food crops and raw commodities after harvest, the company said. The expanded label allows use across organic production, processing and storage sites where permitted.

Bird-X

Bird-X announced a battery-powered hog ring tool for commercial bird netting installation crews. The tool uses a 20-volt cordless platform, a 100-ring magazine and a 7-pound design. The company said it is intended to help installers work faster and move more freely. Bird netting installation typically relies on pneumatic tools that require air compressors, hoses and a constant power source, which can be difficult to use on rooftops or in confined spaces. Bird-X said its tool fires 3/4-inch stainless steel or galvanized rings without delay. The magazine holds 100 rings, and the company said the battery supports more than 1,000 rings per charge. Each kit includes two batteries, a charger, a belt attachment, a handle, lubricant and an operator manual.

Pest Tech

Pest Tech launched the Multi-Key V2, a multi-tool for pest control technicians. The compact tool includes keys designed to fit a range of rodent bait stations, reducing the need to carry multiple tools. It also includes smaller keys for tasks such as breaking chemical bottle seals and installing bait block rods. Pest Tech said the Multi-Key V2 is designed for durability and can be customized. The tool is available in multiple colors and can be personalized with a company or technician name, according to the manufacturer.
