RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment) announced the hiring of Scott Herndon as executive director. Herndon brings more than 14 years of experience in advocacy, policy, law and coalition building to the specialty pesticide and fertilizer trade association.

Mike Ruprich has been named chairman and CEO of Veseris, replacing Ken Bradley, who resigned to pursue a new opportunity outside of the industry. Ruprich has been closely involved with Veseris since it became a standalone enterprise, serving as chairman of the board and playing an integral role in the company’s evolution, the company said.

Aruza Pest Control, Charlotte, N.C., announced the appointment of Angela Farman as chief financial officer. Farman will oversee Aruza’s financial strategy, capital planning, reporting infrastructure and operational finance functions.

Modern Exterminating announced the opening of its newest office in Spartanburg, S.C. Leading the new location is Tyler Ragsdale, who is the Spartanburg branch manager.

Liberty Pest Control, Paducah, Ky., recently announced the promotions of Steven Riley to branch manager and Robert Reams to service manager.
