LOS ANGELES — As the food industry faces significant regulatory shifts, Global Food Safety Consultants (GFSC) has announced a compliance roadmap to help businesses navigate the upcoming SQF Edition 10 requirements, with new mandates focusing on food safety culture and enhanced risk management.
The transition to SQF Edition 10 represents a move toward measurable, culture-driven safety standards, said GFSC.
"The 2026 landscape isn't just about checking boxes; it's about proving that food safety is a core value of your entire organization," said the GFSC leadership team. "Auditors want to see a living, breathing safety culture. Our goal is to ensure our clients aren't just ready for the audit but are setting the industry standard."
In addition to SQF preparation, GFSC is expanding its specialized HACCP Plan consulting, helping businesses reduce recalls and waste through updated hazard analysis. As part of this 2026 initiative, GFSC said it is offering strategic gap analyses to identify vulnerabilities before the new standards take full effect.
