SACRAMENTO, Calif. — DFA of California and Safe Food Alliance announced the promotion of Hillari Bynum to senior director, growth and innovation. In this new role, Bynum will oversee the organization’s growth-focused functions, including business development, marketing, customer, experience, technology enablement and innovation initiatives.
DFA said the unified leadership structure will help enhance coordination across teams and position the organization for continued success.
“Hillari has consistently demonstrated the ability to look beyond traditional marketing and identify opportunities to strengthen our organization,” said Brendan O’Donnell, president and CEO of DFA of California and Safe Food Alliance. “From relaunching Safe Food California to leading technology initiatives, she has helped modernize how we serve our members and customers.”
Reflecting on her new role, Bynum said, “By combining three teams into one cohesive organization with two clear mandates, we’re creating a stronger, more aligned team that can move faster, innovate more effectively and deliver greater value to our customers and members.”
Bynum has been with DFA of California and Safe Food Alliance for eight years. The association said in this time she has exceed the scope of her assigned role, demonstrating her strength and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. Bynum’s promotion reflects the significance of her contributions and the vital role she will continue to play in advancing the organization’s strategic goals, DFA said.
