Inside the Latest Issue: PCT June 2026 Highlights

June is PCT’s annual fly control issue. In this month’s issue Josh Shoemaker breaks down why true control goes beyond adult treatment, in Filth Fly Offensive, by focusing on larval habitats, behavior insights and environmental fixes.

Also in June, PCT profiles Pest Pros, an up-and-coming California Pest control company under the leadership of Josh Fleenor. In bed bug coverage, Dr. Christopher Hayes, from North Carolina University, reveals an unexpected impact of how bed bugs may be contributing to a rise in Malaria by pushing people away from treated bed nets.

PCT has also added several new videos and media to the website.

PCT Assistant Editor McKenna Christy recently returned from NPMA's Women's Conference where she conducted video interviews, including a Q&A with Julie Tesh-Clark of Pest Management Systems, Inc. on the impression Women's Forum has left on her and industry professionals over the years. And an interview with Kim Camera, founder of Urban Canine Pest and Wildlife Solutions.

PCT Digital Editor Patrick Rhonemus caught up with Tim Clowney Safety Compliance Manager of Green Pest Solutions to learn about the company’s F-150 truck giveaway. Each year, a select group of Green Pest Solutions technicians with excellent driving records are entered into a raffle to win a free truck. Clowney explains how this incentive program was developed and how it is promoting safe driving practices.

And be sure to download the latest Beyond the Pest podcast episode. In a recent episode Jen Sweeney-Ingram and Mike Thome of the Urban Pest Management Technical Conference discussed unique challenges in rodent control, including rodent issues on planes and sensitive accounts such as zoos and cruise lines.
