

This spring, Nursery Management magazine surveyed North American growers about which diseases are the most problematic, scouting protocols, disease control budgets and more. Our survey of nearly 100 nursery growers revealed that while chemical applications are often used for control against disease pressure, sanitation and cultural practices rank just as high or even higher. Most respondents scout daily for disease issues. And biocontrol is on the rise as more than half the growers that took our survey are using a biocontrol product.
