Kim Anders-Luber joins Star Roses and Plants as the territory manager for the South Florida region, assuming the role following the retirement of Jim Darden.

Anders-Luber has over 20 years of industry experience, previously working at John Deere Landscapes, McGregor Plant Sales and most recently at McHutchison Horticultural Distributors, where she was the key account sales manager for the Southeast.

She has a degree in plant science and landscape systems from the University of Tennessee.

The South Florida position became available as part of a larger transition in the Star Roses and Plants sales team. After nearly 30 years with Star, Darden began his retirement this October.

“We can’t thank Jim enough for his dedication to Star and the tremendous impact he made on our company, for our customers and in the industry as a whole,” said Tom O’Connell, Star's director of sales, marketing and licensing. “Moving forward, we couldn’t ask for a better fit than Kim — her enthusiasm and experience have already added a remarkable amount to our team.”
