McHutchison announces personnel additions for sales team

McHutchison has hired Noah Bohmann and Shannon Wehmeyer as sales associates.

McHutchison, a U.S. horticultural distributor serving North American greenhouse and nursery markets, has hired Noah Bohmann and Shannon Wehmeyer as sales representatives.

“We’re really glad to have Noah and Shannon join our sales team,” said Chief Operating Officer Frank Magnusson. “Our customers and partners will benefit right away from a breadth of experience that both bring with them to the company.”

Bohmann has 17 years of horticultural industry experience, mostly in retail and commercial greenhouses.

His previous roles included positions in growing, operations and senior leadership before moving to sales. He has worked in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois and Wisconsin during his career. Prior stops included City Floral Garden Center and Landscaping, SunBlest Gardens and Carlin Horticultural Supplies, among others.

He will be based in Northern Illinois, in his hometown of Antioch, Illinois. Bohmann attended the College of Lake County, where he studied horticulture.

Wehmeyer arrives with more than 12 years of experience in the horticulture industry. Prior to McHutchison, she worked at Magnolia Gardens Nursery, where she held roles in sales, customer service, office management and production planning.

She has managed customer accounts, coordinated planting and propagation schedules and also worked closely with sales and production teams to align plant availability with demand. Her experience includes purchasing, inventory management and helping customers work through shipping and product concerns, as well as nursery operations.

Based in Anderson, Texas, Wehmeyer will support customers with her deep understanding of details that go into getting plants from the grower to their destination.
