The American Horticultural Society has launched Horticultural Happenings, a national resource designed to connect gardeners and plant lovers with horticultural events across North America.
“Gardening has a wonderful way of bringing people together, whether they’re learning a new skill, discovering a favorite garden or connecting with others who share their passion for plants,” said AHS President and CEO Suzanne Laporte. “Horticultural Happenings makes it easier for people to find these experiences while helping horticultural organizations connect with new audiences.”
Horticultural Happenings features events taking place throughout the United States and Canada and includes a range of events, including flower shows, garden tours, plant sales, workshops, lectures, festivals and more.
Organizations in the horticultural field are invited to submit upcoming events to the Horticultural Happenings calendar. Participation is free, offering public gardens, plant societies, garden clubs, universities, nurseries, master gardener groups and others the opportunity to share their events with a wider audience.
To find upcoming activities or learn more about submitting an event, visit Horticultural Happenings or review the Horticultural Happenings submission guidelines.
