LANCASTER, Penn. – Gregory and Maria Pettis, owners of Dominion Pest Control, announce the launch of Dominion Food Safety and Defense, a new division dedicated to enhancing food safety and security through expert pest management solutions tailored specifically for the food industry.
Leading the division is Jason Rothamel, Dominion’s Senior Pest Control Specialist. With over 28 years of experience in pest control, Rothamel brings extensive expertise across multiple pest management sectors, including lawn and turf, household, general pest, wood-destroying pestsm and public health.
Rothamel holds various certifications, including, SQF Internal Auditing, GFDI’s Food Defense Intentional Adulteration and Crisis Management Training, Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), Sanitation & Integrated Pest Management (GMP) and NPMA PRO Certified.
Dominion Food Safety and Defense will provide specialized pest management solutions that meet the stringent standards of the food industry, ensuring businesses remain protected from pests that could compromise food safety and operations. Under Rothamel’s leadership, the division will integrate pest control with food safety best practices, helping clients maintain regulatory compliance while optimizing operational efficiency.
