 Name: Cape Diamond rose.Description: Cape Diamond has old-fashioned, pure-pink flowers. The double flowers have a petal count of more than 35. Foliage is a rugosa-like green-gray, which contrasts well with the flowers. Habit: Plants are vigorous and can be grown as a large, spreading shrub or they can be trained as a climber. Attributes: Cape Diamond emits a sweet and spicy fragrance. It’s resistant to black spot, powdery mildew, rust and downy mildew. Hardiness: This variety was bred in Canada, which makes it quite hardy and ideal for Northern climates. It’s hardy to USDA Hardiness Zone 3.
