Name: Heuchera ‘Shanghai.’
Description: Tight mounds of silvery-purple leaves set forth white flowers on dark stems. It flowers from May to September.
Habit: Mounding plants grow to 10 inches high and 12 inches wide. Flowers grow to 18 inches high.
Hardiness: USDA Hardiness Zones 4-9.
Landscape use: Edging, front of the border, in containers or en masse. Grows well in full sun to part shade. Plant in moderately well-drained organic soils for best growth. It’s drought tolerant. ‘Shanghai’ also attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
