VALLEY VIEW, Ohio — The PCT Media Group is pleased to announce the addition of assistant editor McKenna Christy.
In this role, Christy will contribute to the ongoing success of PCT and QA magazines by writing and editing print and digital products. She will work alongside and assist editors of the PCT Media Group in covering the growing pest control and food safety industries.
Additionally, she will travel to trade shows and conferences to provide editorial coverage.
Christy is a graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism where she received her bachelor of science in journalism with minors in Spanish and history.
Christy has experience writing and editing for multiple magazines and newspapers. She was a 2025 American Society of Magazine Editors editorial intern at The Pioneer Woman Magazine in New York City and a 2022 editorial intern at Matter News in Columbus, Ohio. She was a culture staff writer and the equity director at the independent student-run newspaper The Post and served as the editor-in-chief of Backdrop Magazine at Ohio University.
“The PCT Media Group is so excited to welcome McKenna Christy to our staff. She’ll spend time writing and editing for both of our publications – PCT and Quality Assurance & Food Safety – and their associated digital products,” said Group Publisher Jodi Dorsch. “McKenna’s journalism experience is outstanding, including her news reporting and work on consumer magazines, and as a fellow Ohio University E.W.
