Gov. Brian Kemp Proclaimed April as Pest Control Month

ATLANTA, Ga. –– In recognition of the vital role pest control professionals play in safeguarding public health and maintaining the quality of life across Georgia, the Certified Pest Control Operators of Georgia (CPCO) met with Gov. Brian Kemp who officially proclaimed April as Pest Control Month.

The proclamation underscores the significance of pest control services in protecting Georgia's residents, homes, businesses, and agricultural industries from the dangers posed by pests, such as rodents, termites, mosquitoes, and other vectors of disease.

“This proclamation recognizes the Certified Pest Control Operators of Georgia for their efforts to protect the citizens and environment of Georgia,” said Connie Rogers, executive director of the Certified Pest Control Operators of Georgia. “We are proud to raise awareness about the importance of pest management and the role pest control service provides on a daily basis”.

The Certified Pest Control Operators of Georgia is a statewide trade association dedicated to supporting Georgia’s professional pest control operators.
