ATLANTA — FieldEdge by Xplor and Service Autopilot by Xplor have announced a new integration with Coast, a fuel card and fleet management platform. The partnership provides service businesses with GPS-powered tools aimed at improving fuel management and fraud prevention.
By combining Coast’s fuel card technology with FleetSharp GPS tracking, users of FieldEdge and Service Autopilot gain real-time insight into fuel usage and spending. The integration is designed to help fleet managers block unauthorized fuel purchases, track mileage automatically, and detect discrepancies.
Features of the Integration Include:
· Fraud Protection: Blocks unauthorized fuel transactions when vehicles are not present at fueling locations.
· Mileage Tracking: Automatically records odometer readings at each fill-up.
· Theft Alerts: Notifies users of potential fuel theft or overfilled tanks.
· Fraud Coverage: Coast offers coverage of up to $25,000 for fraud and misuse when advanced security features are enabled.
· Card Flexibility: Coast cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted, with customizable controls by driver or vehicle.
According to Coast, businesses using its platform have reported average monthly fuel savings of up to 10 percent.
“This partnership offers a streamlined approach to managing fuel usage and security,” said Phil Mirisola, director of strategic partnerships at Coast. “The combination of GPS tracking and smart card controls provides additional oversight for owners and operators.”
Jessie Barrack, senior vice president of business development at FieldEdge by Xplor, added. “Our mission is to help service businesses operate more efficiently,” said Jessie Barrack, senior vice president of business development at FieldEdge by Xplor. “This integration gives customers more visibility and control over fuel expenses, which are often a significant portion of operating costs.”
