
Johnson Pest Control, Sevierville, Tenn., has officially gone on the record to say “Cancer Bugs Us” (see photo). To honor manager Donna Coker, the company decided to raise cancer awareness — and it started with decals on company vehicles. “It’s more of an encouragement initiative,” said Tammy Johnson, co-owner. “We have walked with Donna through 10 years of diagnoses and treatments all while watching her set the example for facing obstacles and holding on to your faith. We will continue as a company to find ways to participate in and donate to fundraisers for cancer treatment and cures in honor of our admired co-worker.”

Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators announced the merger and acquisition of Universal Pest Control in Phoenix. This merger further strengthens Arrow’s presence in the Phoenix market and bolsters its ability to better serve residential and commercial pest and termite customers throughout Maricopa County, the firm says. Universal will join the Arrow Exterminators office in Phoenix and will operate as Arrow Exterminators.
