Several members of Colony Pest Management, Brooklyn, N.Y., accepted the challenge of “No Shave November.” “Basically the goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free,” said President Joseph P. Sheehan. “Some donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives and aid those fighting the battle.” For all employees who participated by not shaving from Nov. 1- Nov. 30, Colony donated $100 per combined inch of facial hair. Each year the company donates the proceeds to a different charity.
Orkin has expanded its presence in Central America with the addition of a new franchise located in El Salvador. El Salvador joins Orkin Latin American franchises in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama that are established in the region.

Massey Services purchased Ecoshield Pest Control of Oklahoma City, Okla. The acquisition expands Massey’s presence to the Oklahoma market. Massey Services is headquartered in Orlando, Fla., and currently provides service to more than 450,000 customers throughout Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, South Carolina and Oklahoma.
