True Choke-Out Herbicide from West Coast organic fertilizer manufacturer True Organic Products is an EPA-registered and OMRI-listed burndown herbicide that provides organic and conventional growers with a fast-acting solution to combat weeds and grasses, the company said.
True Choke-Out features active ingredients like capric acid and caprylic acid, both derived from plant-based oils. Upon contact with broadleaf or grass weed species, the formulation begins drying up foliage within hours. With adequate spray deposition and concentration, a single application can achieve a total weed kill within two to three days, the company said.
TRUE Choke-Out Herbicide is available now for commercial agricultural use in select states (map available at the bottom of this page).
