Pillar SC Intrinsic brand fungicide from BASF is now available in California for use in production ornamentals.

Now available in a 128 fluid ounce pack size, Pillar SC is designed to meet the specific needs of the greenhouse and nursery industry.

Pillar SC Intrinsic brand fungicide is powered by dual-active ingredients, pyraclostrobin and triticonazole, to deliver maximum disease control and plant health benefits in a more economical cost per application for larger-acreage operations.

“We are excited that Pillar SC is now available to our California customers,” said Alex Henson, BASF product manager. “It is rotation-ready and delivers consistent control of key diseases, helping complete and strengthen mid-production spray programs. It is a valuable building block to better plants, delivering broad-spectrum disease control and proven plant health benefits, including stronger, denser root systems and enhanced stress tolerance.”

Pillar SC Intrinsic brand fungicide can be added into an existing spray program whenever extra control is needed for more than two dozen diseases, including:

  • Anthracnose
  • Leaf spots
  • Powdery mildews
  • Rusts
  • Stem diebacks and blights
  • Vascular streak dieback
  • Root and crown diseases
  • Fusarium
  • Rhizoctonia
  • Cylindrocladium
  • Sclerotinia
