HAMPDEN, Mass. – Every year, Graduate Pest Solutions selects local non-profits to support during the holidays. In the past, the company has featured the Springfield Rescue Mission, Square One, Dakin, Sunshine Village, Girls Inc., and Head Start. This year, Graduate has selected Rick's Place in Wilbraham, Mass., and Halfway Home Cat Rescue in Chicopee, Mass.
Rick's Place offers support for children and teens who are dealing with the loss of a loved one. Through various activities with peers, school programs and community outreach, they create a space where young people can express their feelings, find support, and build a sense of community.
Their goal is to ensure that no child has to face their grief alone, by providing a safe and trusting environment for them to share their experiences. It's a truly supportive place for families going through tough times.
Additionally, Halfway Home is committed to raising public awareness about the importance of cat welfare, the challenges of cat overpopulation, and the joys of quality companionship between humans and cats through their education and adoption programs.
